| Description :South Yorkshire Archaeology Day is an annual event, co-organised by South Yorkshire Archaeology Service and Institute for Lifelong Learning, University of Sheffield. A range of speakers, both ameteur and professional, will present the results of their work from throughout the county. The talks will be fairly short (20-30 minutes) and aimed at the interested lay person, rather than professional archaeologists. This years event will take place on 15th November 2003, at the Sir Henry Stephenson Building, Mappin Street, Sheffield. The details will be posted nearer the time. |
